Topic summary: In this topic you will create your own User Account here on the MyHLife Wiki and then design a cool, personalized User Profile page.

Request/Create a User Account

1. Go to the Request account page to request a user account.

2. Type a user name, your email address and your first name.

3. Click the request account button to submit your request.

4. Check your email for a message asking you to confirm your email address. Click the link in the email to confirm.

5. Look for a second email with a temporary password. Use that password to sign in to the wiki (you will be able to change it later.)

Customize Your User Profile Page

You must Log In to the Wiki in order to edit your User Profile page. This will bring up the "user" menu on the top of the screen.

1. After you login, Click on your user name to get to your User Profile page (a link to it will appear near the top of the screen.)

2. Edit your User Profile (or any other Wiki page) by selecting the 'edit' tab on the top menu of the page.

3. Answer the questions on your profile. Share some interesting facts about yourself!

4. Use the Upload page to add 3 images you like: of yourself, of your community and another favorite image. Tell us why you chose these. [Note: After you upload your photos, you can find them in the File Gallery

5. Feel free to add other info and special touches to your page -- be yourself!

6. Click "Save Page" often ... and especially when you are done.

Make Your User Profile Page Look COOL!

1. Get inspired by other profiles, like these: Amu and Leslie

2. If you like something on their pages, just click "edit" and copy their Wiki tags into your page. It's all about learning from each other!

3. This is YOUR personal space, so make it unique; Add color, links, photos and videos!

Asking Questions/ Getting help!

There are lots of ways to get help with any questions you have!

1. Use the Group Forum to post questions to everyone in the MyHLife community. This is a good place to talk about your game ideas and to ask technical questions.
2. Use the User Gallery to find another person’s User profile page. "Talk" to that person directly by posting a message on the "discussion" tab of his/her user profile page.
3. Search the Wiki Tips for Frequently Ask Questions and answers.
